A health check-up camp was conducted by Yuvraj Singh Foundation at Madarsa, Surajpur Village, Greater Noida.

The participants of the camp got blood pressure, oral cancer, Body Mass Index (BMI) and dental check-up from the doctors. Health education was provided on topics of cancer awareness, tobacco cessation, malnutrition, proper hygiene habits etc. The camp consisted of around 198 patients out of which approximately 50% were women, 30% were men and 20% were children. The age range of the patients was between 1-94 years.

Some observations revealed that the overall hygiene of the people was very poor. Also, the locals suffered from malaria and dengue due to high drainage problems. Many patients reported having typhoid in the past one month. Dental and overall oral hygiene was poor for nearly all patients. Breast symptoms and cervical symptoms were abundantly present. Almost 12% patients had higher than normal blood pressure (normal range of 120/80mm Hg). Dental caries, gingivitis, oral pre-cancerous lesions and conditions like leukoplakia, erythroplakia, oral sub mucous fibrosis etc. were found among several people.

7 dentists were present for a check-up at the camp. Patients were referred to ITS Dental College Hospital and Research Centre, Knowledge Park III, Greater Noida for further tests and check-up.
