A health check-up camp was conducted by Yuvraj Singh Foundation at Raen Basera, Tugalpur, Noida.

The participants of the camp were checked by doctors for their blood pressure, oral cancer, Body Mass Index (BMI) and dental hygiene. Health education was provided on issues like cancer awareness, tobacco cessation, malnutrition, proper hygiene habits etc. The camp consisted of around 93 patients of which 43% were women and 57% were men. The age range of the patients was between 13 to 43 years.

Raen Basera is a night shelter home for homeless people. The nutritional status of the people staying here was very low. Many patients reported to be highly addicted to smoking, smokeless tobacco, alcohol and reported using other harmful substances like marijuana. Pre-cancer lesions and conditions in the oral cavity prevalence were reported to be high. Blood pressure for more than 14% patients was reported to be high (above the normal range of 120/80mm Hg). Dental problems were significantly present in the patients for various problems including dental caries, gingivitis, oral pre cancerous lesions and conditions. Health education was given regarding cancer awareness.

4 doctors were present for check-up at the camp. Patients were referred to Govt Hospital, Sector-30 for further tests and check-up.
