Jamshedpur: YouWeCan Organises Cancer Screening & Awareness Camps on World Health Day 2019

To commemorate World Health Day 2019, YouWeCan in association with Jamna Auto Industries organised cancer screening and awareness camps over a three day period, in tribal areas located near the Jamna Auto factory in Jamshedpur.
Over 350 participants from three villages participated in the health camps, which focused primarily on oral and breast cancer screening. A tobacco cessation counselling program was also organised to sensitise participants on the ill effects of tobacco use and moreover help them quit the habit.
Apart from screening, women were sensitised about self breast examination and educated on good menstrual hygiene.
