SWASTH MAHILA, SWASTH GOA INITIATIVE

Under Swasth Mahila Swasth Goa initiative by YouWeCan, a mega camp was organized in collaboration with the SBI Foundation in Goa Medical College. The team targeted 2000 scans and achieved approx. 75% of the goal. More than 1500 beneficiaries were scanned out of which 18 suspected cases are under further investigation. The entire GMC female staff along with nursing staff, paramedics, admin department and their family members were screened during this event. The camp focused on highlighting the importance of timely screening and early detection through awareness session on Breast cancer.
