As Swasth Mahila Swasth Goa nears 6 months of completion, the initiative continues to make strides towards a massive impact. An image from a special effort organized to empower women with information on screening and screening devices at St. Francis Xavier’s, Siolim — as a part of the initiative, in partnership with the SBI foundation. Attendees were glad to have engaged with the YouWeCan team, to learn more about Breast Cancer. In the presence of Dr. Prakash Kurade, 69 women were screened for Breast Cancer in a single day — at a screening camp at GEC College in Cuncolim, Laxmi Mandir. We are proud to be striving toward change every day!

As a part of Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations from 19th April to 22nd April 2022, team YouWeCan conducted screening camps at PHC Dharbandora, CHC Sakhali, CHC Pernem & CHC Canacona in collaboration with Goa Medical College & Hospital, Goa Dental College & Hospital, Directorate of Panchayat, other departments, NGOs & local leaders.
