YouWeCan Joins Hands with Sukhmanch Theatre Group on World Cancer Day

Some of the most complex ideas can be beautifully illustrated through theatre. On the occasion of World Cancer Day 2019, team YouWeCan joined hands with the Sukhmanch Theatre Group and set out to spread awareness on Cancer among the Sarfabad Village community as well as students and teachers of Lotus Krishna Vidya Bhawan (Sector 73, Noida) and The Millennium School (Sector 119, Noida).
The street play performed by Sukhmanch Theatre was well received by the audience and established a space for healthy dialogue about Cancer amongst the women of the village community as well as the school children.
The initiative’s success would not have been possible without the support of the local community leaders and the school authoroties. We hope to conduct more of such events in our battle against Cancer!
