Each year, 9.6 million people die from cancer around the world.
That’s more than HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined.
But together we can change this.
Through our cancer awareness program, we educate people about cancer prevention techniques, the importance of getting screened regularly and the signs & symptoms of cancer. We do this through online campaigns, medical camps, corporate awareness workshops, street plays, music festivals, media campaigns and awareness events.
According to World Health Organisation, over one third of all cancer deaths could be prevented. We believe that screening is at the heart of the battle against cancer in India. We conduct regular screening camps for underprivileged communities in multiple locations across the country and have screened over 150,000 people till date.
The YouWeCan Cancer Treatment Fund for Paediatric Patients provides financial assistance for the treatment of eligible cancer patients, to a maximum limit of Rs. 3,00,000.00 (rupees three lakhs) per patient. Only patients belonging to underprivileged backgrounds, who are below 16 years of age, are eligible to receive support under the fund.
The YouWeCan Scholarship provides financial assistance to cancer survivor children from marginalised backgrounds, to help them get reintegrated into the formal education system after their treatment is complete. Once a student has been enrolled for the program, they are provided a scholarship of upto Rs. 30,000.00 per year, every year till the time they complete their education.
