STORY OF COURAGE

Hi, My Name is Deepika Pant. I am a housewife, and my husband works in a private company, and we both are parents to our 12- year-old daughter Nancy.

In 2019, Nancy used to get fever frequently, with spikes every 2 to 3 days. When we got her tested, we learned that she was suffering from B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

This news was very heart-wrenching for me and my family. As parents, it was very difficult for us to digest in news, and we all were wondering how a child at such a tender age can get diagnosed with cancer.

Nancy is a bright and ambitious child. Her treatment is still going on – but she is feeling better than before. She is 12 years old and is studying in 6th standard. She is an excellent student and loves playing sports.

I am very thankful to Yuvraj Singh Foundation for helping us at such a difficult time. Our daughter will be able to strive for her dreams, and achieve greatness — thank to the Foundation’s assistance through her journey battling cancer.
