Cancer Awareness Initiative Organised in Jasola Slum in Partnership with Hero Fin Corp

In a continuing effort to contribute to National Volunteering Week 2019, a Cancer Screening and Awareness Program was organised by YouWeCan Foundation in collaboration with Bucket List, Hero Fin Corp and India@75.
The initiative was held at Jasola Slum, New Delhi and aimed at raising awareness and sensitising people from the slim community, particularly women, about the benefits of regular cancer screening and the healthcare facilities in their local area that can be accessed by them for regular checkups and screening.
The event was attended by more than 100 community members comprising women, children and youth. Volunteers from Hero Fin Corp were cheerfully involved with the children as they helped them in creating posters and were also instrumental in sensitising the women.
