YouWeCan Foundation in partnership with MASH Project Foundation and Dailyhunt hosted an informative session on the observance of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. When we speak of Cancer, the focus is always on the survivors’ pain.

Poor healthcare infrastructures, the role of the government, methods of enabling stronger support systems, or the toll cancer takes on them and their loved one’s mental health — are lesser known aspects. These concerns are often hidden from the sight of the general public, and they make the journey for every individual battling Cancer significantly harder.

The panel focused on the role YouWeCan and other non-profits play, in spreading awareness on Breast Cancer. The panel also addressed the multiple facets of concerns that surround Cancer, and dived deep into why is the existence of such organizations is integral in India’s quest to gain #CancerSeAzadi.
