Children at AP Public School, Uttar Pradesh go through medical check-up

A health talk and dental check-up was conducted at AP Public School, Harola, Uttar Pradesh on 3rd May 2017 from 10 am. The activities included cancer awareness talk, dental health check-up, measurement of height, weight, Body Mass Index (BMI) and body temperature. Along with these, pulse oximetry tests were conducted.
The results of the medical check-up were alarming. Most of the children had bad oral hygiene and suffered from dental caries, gingivitis, physiologically mobile teeth requiring extraction etc. Moreover, majority of the children were underweight.

- 2 doctors and 2 auxiliary staff present at the venue
- Children in the age group of 4 to 18 checked for medical conditions
- Cancer awareness and symptoms introduced to the children
