MEET THE TEAM

Hey I’m Sanjogeeta

Sanjogeeta Singh is the Project Manager of YouWeCan Foundation’s Swasth Mahila, Swasth Goa Initiative. Equipped with a Masters in Community Organization and Development Practice, Sanjogeeta’s aim is to bring positive change to people’s lives. Her experiences working amongst diverse communities and settings have inspired her to be the changemaker, who brings societal shift through action.

  1.      Three words to describe your personality?

Ans. Hardworking, Clumsy and Adaptable

  1. What is your comfort food?

Ans. Chicken Fried Rice and Babycorn Chilli

  1. If a movie was made about your life, what would it be?

Ans. Under the Tuscan Sun

  1. If you could travel to any part of the world, where would you go and why?

Ans. I would go to Paris and see what’s the hype about the Eiffel Tower

  1. What are 3 words to describe working at YWC?

Ans. New, Comfortable and Challenging

  1. What motivates you to do what you do?

Ans. To be able to bring even little bit of Change

  1. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Ans. Never get on the bad side of the people with little bit of authority. Actually, It’s from a Movie called Gifted but I wish somebody gave me that advice.

  1. A special memory from your time spent with the YWC family?

Ans. I’ll create one or many as I move forward with YWC Family.

  1. What has living in a pandemic taught you?

Ans. How to make three meals in a day and not survive on Maggi.

Bachelors in Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery, she aims to make a change by developing the healthcare system in India. Her determination, self confidence and passion allows her to make an impact wherever she goes.

Ans. Diligent, Pro-active, Systematic & Organized

  1. What is your comfort food?

Ans. Traditional Goan food – Rice, Curry, Fish

  1. If a movie was made about your life, what would it be?

Ans. Any movie inspiring women to be independent and self-sufficient.

  1. If you could travel to any part of the world, where would you go and why?

Ans. Nothing Specific

  1. What are 3 words to describe working at YWC?

Ans. Cooperative team, Healthy working environment, Supportive staff.

  1. What motivates you to do what you do?

Ans. My determination to keep up my self-identity

  1. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Ans. At times, it is better to just wait and watch and not to get tensed about certain things.

  1. A special memory from your time spent with the YWC family?

Ans. Time spent during the training session with the team.

  1. What has living in a pandemic taught you?

Ans. To be human & Kind as nothing is permanent in life and also to become economical.
