MEET THE TEAM

Kajal Naik is Cluster Coordinator at YouWeCan Foundation. She is specialized in epidemiology in public health. She looks forward to educate the women regarding major health goals for better living. Achieving quality of living and standard of living is what drives her every day to move forward.

Q1. Three words to describe your personality?

Ans. Honesty, Smart, Hardworking

Q2. What is your comfort food?

Ans. Goan fish thali

Q3. If a movie was made about your life, what would it be?

Ans. My Hostel days.

Q4. If you could travel to any part of the world, where would you go and why?

Ans. Barley Indonesia, Malaysia because my dream destination and top most from bucket list since college days.

Q5. What are 3 words to describe working at YWC?

Ans. Women health, support and Knowledge to them.

Q6. What motivates you to do what you do?

Ans. Satisfaction and happiness from helping people in equity.

Q7. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Ans. Keep going no matter where you end till you get self happiness.

Q8. A special memory from your time spent with the YWC family?

Ans. Visiting different places in my own state is the best part till date to improve public health.

Q9. What has living in a pandemic taught you?

Ans. Taking self-care to keep others healthy

Juhi Jain manages Media and Public Relations. She did her graduation in English and post-graduation in Public Relations & Communications. Her interest and inquisitiveness about people and their journeys, drives her to move ahead. Her ability to amplify YouWeCan’s mission, and ground level work – is a valuable contribution, and helps amplify cancer awareness

Ans. Empathetic, dependable and friendly

Q2. What is your comfort food?

Ans. Chocolates

Q3. If a movie was made about your life, what would it be?

Ans. Love you zindagi

Q4. If you could travel to any part of the world, where would you go and why?

Ans. I have a BIG travel wish-list and want to explore the whole world in this lifetime if possible. But the top ones on my list at present are Switzerland, Rome and Tibet internationally and Tawang, Spiti and North Sikkim in India because of my fascination with mountains as well as monuments.

Q5. What are 3 words to describe working at YWC?

Ans. Fun, challenging and new experiences/learnings everyday

Q6. What motivates you to do what you do?

Ans. I am privileged to be associated with organizations that are doing some exemplary work in their respective sectors. So, it makes me happy when they get recognized by the media and their industry peers for their efforts.

Q7. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Ans. Take every opportunity head on and give your 110% to your work. Eventually your hard work will speak for itself and help open many more doors of opportunities.

Q8. A special memory from your time spent with the YWC family?

Ans. The team is so amazing that every interaction with them is fun and teaches me something new. But I especially remember the women cricket tournament that we recently organized at YouWePlay in Gurugram. It was my first time witnessing the YouWeCan Team in action. Their passion for their work and the cause they are working for as well as their joy and pride in what they do were quite evident in the way they pulled off that event with so much finesse in such a short time. That was very inspiring.

Q9. What has living in a pandemic taught you?

Ans. To enjoy life and each day to the fullest. Also, to be more understanding and patient with my associates as I don’t know what tough situations they might be going through.
