Online Awareness Campaign on International Men’s Day

Worldwide, the cancer incidence rates are rising in both men and women, but compared to women, men are more likely to develop cancer and sadly to die from the disease. One in five men will be diagnosed with some form of the disease, compared with one is six women.
This International Men’s Day, we encouraged all our supporters and followers to talk to the men in their lives and in society about the importance of frequent health checkups and regularly getting screened for different forms of cancer. Men from different backgrounds came forward with their pledges to keep cancer at bay, not just for themselves, but also for their loved ones.
