In the spirit of Pink October, Shoolini University in collaboration with YouWeCan hosted a variety of awareness drives, student led programs and fundraising activities. Volunteers of YouWeCan in the University initiated the month with a social media campaign that brought survivor stories to the forefront. On the 14th of October, food stalls were set up by enthusiastic Shoolini students, who utilised their culinary skills to raise funds for Cancer Awareness. A fashion show featuring all pink attire was another stride towards amplifying the message of Pink October! Set centre stage, the ‘Pink Tree’ featured messages of hope for cancer patients, written by respected chancellor and other dignitaries. Other efforts by Shoolini University, included Cyclathons, cleaning campaigns, cancer walks and conversation — aimed at emerging victorious in the global battle against Breast Cancer.
