When Yuvian Aditya Kumar was introduced to YouWeCan Foundation’s work – he found an accessible way to make a significant difference. In conversation with Aditya, on what makes him amplify the YWC message.

Q1. Introduce yourself. Where are you from & how have you become involved with the foundation?

Ans. I am Aditya Kumar (an ardent Yuvi fan) I hail from East Champaran, Bihar. I got involved with this foundation through Twitter.

Q2. What motivated you to become involved with YWC activities?

Ans. There are two reasons. First – Yuvi paa and second – The idea and motto behind this foundation motivated me to get involved with YouWeCan.

Q3. What is a memorable moment that you’ve experienced in your involvement with YWC?

Ans. Till now, the most memorable moment has been the ZOOM webinar with Yuvi paa, on August 31, 2020. I got to speak to my hero – the moments I shall cherish till my last breath

Q4. What do you aspire to do?

Ans. I aspire to become a public servant and serve people with utmost compassion and honesty

Q5. Has Yuvraj Singh inspired your life? How and why?

Ans. Of course, Yuvi paa has INSPIRED me in each and every aspect of my life. I was a 6 year old kid, when I started admiring him (in 2002) Since then, I have been following him very closely. I also share my birthday month with him – both are December born. In fact our birthdays are exactly 14 days apart – it means, irrespective of the calendar year, our birthdays fall on same day. Apart from this, I also faced challenges since childhood. Be it my stammering, health issues, failures in multiple competitive examinations – there were moments where life knocked me down. Every time life knocked me down, I looked upto Yuvi paa. His grit and the never give up attitude always kept me motivated and worked like the driving force to conquer the battles of my life. I hope one day I shall make my hero YUVRAJ SINGH feel proud of having a die-hard fan like me.
